RELAUNCH OF GALA TV CHANNEL

A new production company, ETV Media Group, have been awarded the contract to relaunch Gala Bingo’s television channel, Gala TV.  There will be eight hours of daily programming to be broadcast on Sky and Freeview as well as on their online bingo site, galabingo.com.

ONE ONLINE GAMBLING SITE IN USA IS LEGAL

A ruling given by an appellate court in Washington states that Betcha.com is not illegal as it did not violate any state gambling laws in their operations.  Betcha.com is for gamblers who want to place bets, but  against other gamblers, not against the house.  The ruling states “Because Betcha.com customers agreed in advance that participants were not required to pay their losses, Betcha.com was not engaged in ‘gambling’”.

While the stock prices of USA gambling companies, both online and land-based, are decreasing by the day, the stock prices of UK operators are ever increasing, particularly William Hill, who closed last Friday at $269,25, whilst Ladbrokes closed at $205,75.
