A new production company, ETV Media Group, have been awarded the contract to relaunch Gala Bingo’s television channel, Gala TV.  There will be eight hours of daily programming to be broadcast on Sky and Freeview as well as on their online bingo site, galabingo.com.

Thieves tried to steal the takings from the Gala Bingo Club in Coventry, UK, as it was closing on Sunday night.  One security guard was shot in the leg, but is now out of danger.  The masked gang of four escaped empty handed.  The police are still searching the area for evidence and are doing their utmost to apprehend the culprits.
